About This Qualification

The CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply is the highest level you can start at directly, without completing Levels 2 or 3 first, provided you meet the entry requirements below. It's built for professionals ready to move beyond day-to-day operational buying into strategic sourcing, contract management and supplier relationships.

This is the first of the three qualifications (Levels 4, 5 and 6) that make up the direct pathway to MCIPS Chartered status.

Who It's For

Is Level 4 Right for You?

Level 4 is designed for professionals who already have some grounding in a business environment and are ready to build a comprehensive procurement toolkit. It suits people working toward or already in roles such as Buyer, Contract Officer, or Procurement Executive.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of two A-Levels (or an equivalent international qualification), or a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate, or a minimum of two years' relevant commercial experience.
